So — I signed up for a sock knitting class at a local yarn store. This, however, is not your regular standard double pointed needle sock knitting. In fact, I learned how to knit more than 25 years ago when I was living in Sweden by knitting a sock. One sock. I never finished the second sock. That sock will be forever mateless. What I am learning now is the magic loop method — and it is glorious! Enlightening! and Totally Counterintuitive.
